From 22 to 25 October, SITLOSOPHY® awaits Orgatec 2024, the international trade fair dedicated to office furniture, to officially present the new JAY collection designed by Zakaria Khalfaoui.
A collection of chairs whose simplicity is a declaration of constant research into creating functional, aesthetically refined and ergonomic complements.
Zakaria’s minimalist design style encompasses a work of synthesis that makes complex concepts easy to read. Zakaria’s projects, well represented by JAY, are the search for all-round design: aesthetically pleasing, functional, ergonomic and sustainable.
Jay takes its inspiration from the J bar, an essential component of operative seating that connects backrest and seat, whose name in turn refers to the letter J. Like the J bar, the Jay collection is intended to be the essence of comfort: a single line characterising an entire collection of multifunctional chairs to be used from the office to the home, up to contract spaces.
The Jay project is the result of extensive research involving aesthetic, ergonomic and environmental aspects. The shell, made of wood from certified forests, is designed to be completely disassembled, facilitating recycling and replacement of components. This design choice helps reduce the product’s environmental impact and extends its life cycle.
