From April 7 to 13, 2025, on the occasion of Fuorisalone, the Milano Certosa District will host a vibrant calendar of exhibitions, workshops, and talks dedicated to contemporary art and craftsmanship. This area, currently undergoing a major urban regeneration initiative led by RealStep, is positioning itself as one of the most dynamic and emerging hubs in the city.
Among the key venues, La Galleria – Manifatture Artigiane Certosa (via Ludovico di Breme 79) stands out as a new 1,000 sqm hub dedicated to professionals from the creative and artisanal sectors. Sitlosophy has contributed to the interior design of one of its exhibition and cultural rooms, supporting the setup with its Yugen and Jay seating collections.
These products were selected for their ability to combine technical and visual quality with flexibility of use. The two collections enhance the environment with a discreet, contemporary presence aligned with the overall narrative of the space.
Yugen: refined modularity and comfort
Designed by Paolo Scagnellato and Jeremiah Ferrarese, Yugen is ideal for collective settings such as lounges and auditoriums. The line offers versatile configurations—benches of up to four seats, with accessories like tablet arms, wheels, or linking elements. The contrast between the embracing backrest and clean lines, combined with a broad choice of finishes, makes Yugen adaptable yet visually consistent.
Jay: essential lines and contemporary versatility
Jay, designed by Zakaria Khalfaoui, explores flexibility through a wide range of configurations: wood or metal legs, low or high seat, swivel or mobile base. Suitable for both workspaces and public areas, Jay expresses Sitlosophy’s ability to shape spaces through light, functional, and expressive design.
The official opening of La Galleria is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 3:00 p.m., with the presence of Alessia Cappello, Councillor for Economic Development and Labor Policies. During the week, the space will be animated by installations, exhibitions, and live workshops open to the public.
Sitlosophy’s contribution reflects its commitment to promoting the dialogue between product design and urban culture—supporting projects that connect craftsmanship, contemporary aesthetics, and meaningful community activation.
